January is Radon Awareness Month across the US. Here in CT, we're continuing to mitigate homes and schools to lower indoor radon concentrations and protect students and homeowners alike. Active Soil Depressurization (ASD) continues to be the premier approach to lowering indoor radon concentrations. ASD creates a negative pressure field under the slab of the structure which prevents radon and soil gas from ever entering the structure.
