Radon in water and uranium removal Brookfield CT

Homeowner had elevated waterborne radon and uranium concentrations in their well water. We installed a Bubble Up Interactive system with a 1 hp VFD repressurization pump and anion exchange system. The Bubble Up will deliver "city like" water pressure to all points of use in the home simultaneously. The anion exchange will very effectively remove the uranium from the well water on a "whole house" basis so all points of use are treated. We also replaced their old water softebner with a new Clack WS1 digital metered water softener.

Pressure tank & softener install Danbury CT

Customer had an big box store pressure tank that as water logged. Water logged tanks create "short cycling" with well pumps and will lead to premature failure of the well pump, along with reduced pressure. We replaced the pressure tank with a new Well x Trol pressure tank and stainless steel tee and fitting package. The customer also had a water. So we installed a Clack WS 1 digital metered water softener. We also installed an Alderon Well Stop for flood prevention. It's a sensor that we place on the floor near the tank and is wired into the well pump pressure switch. If the sensor gets wet, it shuts down the well pump until the source of wetness can be investigated.

Stamford, CT Aeration to GAC conversion | Radon Removal

This home had an old aeration system that was problematic. The system had reached a service life where multiple things were going wrong and repairs were going to be costly. The owner inquired about GAC (granular activated carbon) as an alternative. The non-mechanical, no operational noise aspect of GAC was appealing to them. We explained that while aeration was the "best available technology" (BAT) for waterborne radon removal, GAC can be an option depending on radon concentrations. After several confirmatory tests, we determined that GAC would be an applicable technology for this particular home.

We removed the old aeration system and installed the GAC tank with pre and post sediment filters (a feature many of our competitors don't do), along with an up flow acid neutralizer. The customer is thrilled with the results and has great quality water.
